The pile of this rug is knotted with one of the best types of wool in the world. This special wool makes the rug Softer and more natural in look than other rugs. Especially typical for the Mashad are the floral patterns and a large medallion in the center.

Cotton chain: Cotton is an excellent warp (base fabric) for a genuine hand-knotted rug, as it is hard-wearing and at the same time can be spun fine and close-meshed.

Hand knotted quality: Hand-knotted rugs are true works of art and, depending on the quality, require very good training and a high degree of patience. Knotting by hand makes the rugs much finer, smoother and higher quality than with other methods.
